Fuck Cormac McCarthy

His writing blows and I don’t believe anybody normal who says they like him.
Cormac McCarthy is like William Faulkner. Both unnecessarily complicated.
No Country For Old Men is a great movie, but that probably has more to do with the Coen brothers’ ability to whittle the story down to its essentials. Too bad they cast Tommy Lee Jones in his typical haggard role (as Marco wrote in his Faceblog), otherwise that movie would basically be perfect.
